If your pipeline only gets attention when things feel quiet (or scary)… you’re not alone.
Most agency owners spend their whole week growing their client’s businesses… and wonder why their own stays stuck in the same place.
This episode is about fixing that — without turning marketing into another full-time job.
I’m breaking down a simple way to build consistency into your marketing, so your team can execute without you scrambling mid-month.
What you’ll learn in this episode
- Why agency marketing becomes “random bursts” (and why that kills momentum)
- The trap of only marketing when you’re slow… then getting busy… then disappearing again
- Why visibility + excellence are non-negotiable in the AI era
- How to create a system that keeps your pipeline healthy even when client work ramps up
The Marketing Sprint Framework
A marketing sprint is one month where you promote one offer to one audience with one clear promise.
Not everything to everyone. Not “posting when you remember.”
A focused push that actually builds demand.
The 5 decisions you make every month
1). The Offer
Pick the one thing you’re pushing this month.
Ideally high-ticket, high-margin, solving a real problem (not “we do socials”).
2). The Goal
Be specific: 1 client? 3 consults? 2 retainers?
The goal drives the plan.
3). The Budget (time or money)
You’ll spend time, money, or both.
Your goal and budget need to match reality (no “4 clients” with a $200 budget and vibes).
4). The Rubik’s Cube Plan (your monthly marketing system)
Three layers:
- New people: how you get seen (ads, podcasts, events, outreach, partnerships, etc.)
- Nurture: how you build trust (email, podcast, content, follow-up, conversations)
- Sell: how you convert (offer, consults, deadline, sales process)
It’s not random. There’s a formula.
5). The Hook / Angle
This is the campaign theme — the *reason* they lean in.
If the hook is vanilla, results will be vanilla.
Spend real thinking time here because this is the lever that changes everything.
The part most agency owners avoid (and lose money because of it)
Follow-up.
If someone shows interest and you don’t follow up, you didn’t get ghosted — you ghosted them.
Busy people miss things. They get interrupted. They forget.
And if you’re selling a high-ticket service, follow-up is part of the white-glove experience.
In this episode I give you the permission slip to follow up properly — without being weird about it.
